Clarity before commitment.
When should Squaremark become involved?+
Ideally before a site is purchased or a design team is retained. Earlier involvement creates more leverage, but we can also enter during design, construction, or when a project needs to be stabilized.
How are you different from the builder?+
The builder is responsible for constructing the home. Squaremark works solely for the owner—organizing information, testing assumptions, and protecting the owner’s priorities across the entire team.
Do you replace the architect or contractor?+
No. We help those professionals succeed by clarifying decisions, responsibilities, information flow, and commercial expectations. We do not provide architecture, engineering, or construction-at-risk services.
How is Squaremark compensated?+
Engagements are structured as a defined diagnostic fee or an owner-paid advisory fee aligned to scope and project phase. We do not accept referral fees, commissions, rebates, or contractor markups.
Will our project remain confidential?+
Yes. Discretion is fundamental to the role. Project information is shared only with the owner’s authorized team and handled with the same care as financial and legal matters.
